Based on the HAAD Eligibility criteria, a candidate with a gap of experience or discontinuity of practice of more than 2 years must obtained the relevant number of CME/CPD.
According to the UAE Labour Law, there are 2 types of employment contracts: - Limited: by definition a limited contract of employment must have a specific commencement and completion dates. - Unlimited: This is an open-ended contract of employment by which you will continue to work for your employer from a specific date with no end date. This type of contract can be terminated by either party, after giving prior notice. The notice period will vary between 1 to 3 months. Therefore, if you have a limited employment you cannot apply for a new job as this is likely to result in a 6-month ban.
You must have an existing DHA License (physical copy) to be entitled for a transfer. Furthermore, if have attempted to take any HAAD Exam in the past and failed, you will NOT be eligible for transfer of license even with a valid DHA license.
Like DHA transfer to HAAD, it is allowed to transfer your MOH license as long as you have the physical license and that you do not have a history of HAAD Exam failure. Otherwise, you need to take and pass the HAAD Exam.

You are allowed to re-sit the exam after 3 months from previous attempt up to 3 times. However, if you fail all 3 attempts, you will need to wait for a period of 12 months from the last attempt to re-sit the exam.
The licensing process can take a few months, pending the accuracy and speed of the information that you provided to your recruiter. If you are an applicant from the Philippines, at the end of your visit visa, you will have to return home. Applicants from the Philippines need to undergo a mandatory POEA process. You must check cost of POEA process with your agency or POLO office.
The hotel & food cost will be borne by the candidate. Most of the employers will bear the cost of tickets back to the UAE, but it is your responsibility as a candidate to ensure that you receive confirmation from your future employer.
Candidate must have 2 year PQE as a pharmacist technician in a clinical setting not ‘drug store’ if they are not already licensed in the UAE. Please refer to the unified health licensing guideline in the UAE.
First it has to go through CID background check, followed by Ministry of Labor approval and Ministry of Immigration.

Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists irrespective of nationality/country of qualification are required to take the HAAD. It is an oral exam that is required to be taken at the HAAD exam centre in Abu Dhabi. Only Physiotherapists who are registered with the following authorities: Australia, Canada, South Africa, Ireland, New Zealand, UK, USA are exempted.
HAAD does not accept locum or part time employment. Hence, Experience letter from employers must not include this terminology. It is prefer, that as a candidate you can show full time permanent employment to process your application without any complications from HAAD.
Unlike DHA, HAAD will not accept an application without the individual’s home country license. This is a mandatory requirement.
